One of them is stomach cancer which is the creation of cancerous tissues inside it and is also known by the name of gastric cancer.
It presents in any part of the stomach and in other parts of the body also. Through various studies it has been analyzed that stomach cancer is seen more in people above the age of 60 years. Also many stomach infections can lead to stomach cancer so proper care should be taken to keep away from any kind of infection.
In a scientific research it has been studied that stomach cancer may be linked to genes and this hazardous disease is of different types. One of the most common stomach cancer is Aden carcinomas which is found in the glandular cells of the stomach. And generally people are of the age of 70s or 80s faces the problem of glandular cells.
There are various symptoms of stomach cancer such as burning sensation, gas, and abnormal pain in upper abdomen, vomiting, diarrhea, bleeding through vomiting, weight loss, and weakness.
The treatment of stomach cancer is depends upon the size of the tumor, its location, the stage of the cancer, and the patient’s general health. The stomach cancer is always treated in its early stage. For this Radiation therapy is used for the treatment in which high energy rays are used to damage the cancer cell and to stop the growth of the cancer. Chemotherapy can also be used as a treatment. It is a kind of drug which is given to the patient on a regular interval to fight with the stomach cancer.
Apart from these two therapies surgery is the most commonly used treatment for stomach cancer. In the surgery some parts as well as some tissues near those parts has been removed by the surgeon from the stomach in which cancer is present. Sometimes some parts of ovaries, spleen, and intestine are also removed during the time of surgery.
Similarly in the Endoscopic mucosal resection treatment tumor is removed from the stomach with the help of endoscope. The other new therapies for stomach cancer are biological therapy and multimodality.
